Happy New Year! Once again, it’s that time of year where resolutions and fresh starts are made. When I was younger I never really made New Years resolutions, let alone write them down or stick to them. However, this year I decided I would give it a go, even if I don’t stick to them 100%, it’s a good source of motivation. I have both personal resolutions and work-based resolutions for studying and college.
One of my personal resolutions is to maintain a healthy lifestyle – this refers to a healthy sleep routine, regular exercise and eating healthily. Another is to be more grateful towards my family and for the opportunities which I am given. My 17th birthday is later this year and I will be able to drive. Therefore, a final thing I would like to achieve is learning to drive (or at least starting to learn)!
Resolutions for studying/college include getting a good grade in my AS Law exam and working harder in English Language. As well as this I would like to achieve good predicted grades and submit awesome uni applications!
I’d love to know what some of your New Years resolutions are – feel free to comment and let me know! ๐
Happy 2017!

I’m resolving to write 2 blog posts and 1 chapter of a novel each week. Pro tip: it helps to set SMART goals (specific, measurable, action-oriented, realistic, and time-bound – i.e. give yourself a deadline!). Good luck this year!

That’s a great idea, I’m aiming to write one a week for now as I have loads of college stuff to do, but hopefully in the summer it will be more. ๐ Good Luck to you too!
